This website is for Latter-day Saints, Mormons, and LDS of the Maritimes. The LDS Church does not have a strong Mormon presence in the Maritimes, in fact, there are only two stakes of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in all four provinces of the maritimes - Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, and New Brunswick. The Dartmouth Nova Scotia Stake is located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and the St John Nova Scotia Stake is located in St John Nova Scotia. In addition, Nova Scotia is home of the LDS Halifax Nova Scotia Temple, some people might call it the Mormon Temple in Halifax, and home to the Halifax Canada Mission (sometimes called the Canada Halifax Mission or the Halifax Nova Scotia Mission, even though it covers Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, and New Brunswick).
